You will also need to learn the tango walk, It looks easy but it really is very challenging and sometimes it can take years and a lot of practice to get the walk right with your partner.

The embrace is a very important in this dance as well, It needs to be affectionate and kind of sexy as if you are in love with your partner. You need to forget everything that is going on in your life and concentrate on dancing or you will never get it.

A mistake a lot of people make is thinking they need to have a lot of movements in the tango and this is simply not true, as long as you can make the movements you do look natural.

Dancing to the correct time of the music is absolutely essential so you will want to practice the basic steps until they are automatic then work your way to the more difficult steps.

Everyone learns the dance at their own rate so don’t get frustrated if it takes you a little longer than others dancers and keep in mind that just about all dancers will go through an awkward state.
